Evasive action: what to do when everything goes wrong

Drivers in all categories of motorsport are confronted with unforeseen situations on a regular basis, but how do they deal with the unexpected?

In the heat of the action, a driver relies on experience and reaction when taking evasive action or saving himself from a nasty hit.
