Every F1 team gets a limited number of test days per season, meaning car development would be extremely difficult without the help of a simulator and its driver.
McLaren posted on social media a short video in which its engineers explain the crucial role played by the Woking-based simulator drivers, not only during a car's development phase but also during peak hours on race weekends.
