Soon to be retired F1 driver Felipe Massa will race in Formula E sooner rather than later, says series' boss Alejandro Agag.
On the back of burgeoning interest and future involvement in the all-electric series from high profile manufacturers such as Porsche and Mercedes, Formula E is also building a quality platform of drivers.
Felipe Massa would obviously be a welcome addition to the current field, and a likely one contends Agag.
"Felipe is a very desired driver and a supremely talented racer,” Agag told e-racing365.
"For Season Five having Felipe with us is very likely but it is not in my hands, it is up to the teams.
"He would be a fantastic addition to the championship but for Season Four it is maybe too late as F1 runs until end of November.
"Who knows, something could happen sooner rather than later, even this coming season if circumstances allow and we would love him to be here with us."
A veteran of 268 F1 Grands Prix since he launched his FR1 career with Sauber in 2002, Massa won 11 races with Ferrari and missed out by a single point on winning the world championship in 2008.
