The curtain came down on the 2017 world championship, but not on the season as teams remain active at this week's Pirelli tyre test in Abu Dhabi.
All the teams will be running on Tuesday and Wednesday with much of the attention centered around Williams and Robert Kubica.
After giving the Pole a run in a 2014-spec car at Silverstone and in Hungary, along with reserve driver Paul di Resta, the Grove-based outfit wants to evaluate Kubica one last time before deciding who wil complete its 2018 line-up.
The schedule is still tentative for a few teams, but here are the drivers likely to test this week:
Williams
Kubica will run in the morning before handing over driving duties to Lance Stroll for the afternoon. Russian Sergey Sirotkin will run for most of the day on Wednesday, but Kubica will enjoy another outing in the afternoon.
Sauber
Both Marcus Ericsson and Charles Leclerc will test for the Swiss outfit. The Swede will be in the C36 on Tuesday while Formula 2's new champion will take over on Wednesday.
Mercedes
World champion Lewis Hamilton said he would be in the Silver Arrows this week while Sunday's Abu Dhabi GP winner Valtteri Bottas has yet to be confirmed.
Ferrari
The Scuderia will be running Kimi Raikkonen on Day 1 and likely Sebastian Vettel on Day 2.
McLaren
The Woking-based outfit was granted permission to run two cars in this week's Pirelli test following the cancellation for security reasons of its tyre test in Brazil. Fernando Alonso and Stoffel Vandoorne will be on hand while McLaren will also have Lando Norris and Oliver Turvey at its disposal.
Force India
The Silverstone-based pink outfit will give Russian Nikita Mazepin a run in its VJM10 on Tuesday while Sergio Perez and Esteban Ocon should share track time on Wednesday.
Renault
The French team has decided to rely only on Nico Hulkenberg and Carlos Sainz this week, with the German starting off on Day 1 and his team mate taking over on Day 2.
Red Bull
Red Bull Racing is scheduled to run Daniel Ricciardo on Day 1 and Max Verstappen on Day 2.
Toro Rosso
Red Bull junior Sean Gelael wil be behind the wheel on tuesday while Brendon Hartley and Pierre Gasly shall be sharing Wednesday.
Haas
The US outfit hasn't announced its line-up yet but Antonio Giovinazzi and Antonio Fuoco, both Ferrari juniors, could be offered a day's running, with Romain Grosjean and Kevin Magnussen also on call to appear.
