Hamilton reacts to Formula E horror crash... three years late!

Until this weekend, one would have been hard pressed to remember a day when Lewis Hamilton was painfully slow, a word not typically associated with the four-time world champion.

He was however as slow as a Lada full of elephants going uphill when he decided to take a look at Formula E and its on-track action.

Hamilton posted on Instagram footage of a dramatic clash between Nico Prost and Nick Heidfeld which happened at the 2014 Beijing ePrix, and which he mistakenly believed had just occurred!

In his message, the Mercedes driver lashes out at Prost, accusing the Frenchman of 'dangerous driving' and advocating his ban while hoping Heidfeld was okay.

Eventually realizing his out-dated reaction, Hamilton promptly deleted the post. But as usual, the internet isn't letting him off that easily.

For those of you who have never seen the dramatic accident, from which Heidfeld emerged unscathed, check out the video below.
