The Formula 1 community will be well represented next month at Daytona for the Rolex 24, with Kevin Magnussen joining several of his fellow F1 rivals.
Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll have confirmed their presence at the season-opening endurance classic in Florida, the fomer driving for McLaren boss Zak Brown's United Autosports LMP2 outfit while the Canadian will be racing with the Jackie Chan DC Racing squad.
According to Ekstra Bladet, Magnussen is close to a deal to fill a seat with the Action Express Racing team which will field a Dallara, a technical partner of the Haas F1 Team.
The Danish driver's father, Jan Magnussen, is a regular visitor to the Rolex 24 and is scheduled to contest the event once again with a Corvette.
