Kvyat back behind the wheel at Fiorano with Ferrari!

Daniil Kvyat will be back behind the wheel of an F1 car this week when he takes part with Ferrari in a Pirelli in-season tyre test scheduled at Fiorano.

The former Red Bull driver, who was dropped by Toro Rosso after last year's US Grand Prix, signed a development contract with the Scuderia for this season.

He will share driving duties with Ferrari junior Antonio Giovinazzi. The Russian will run on Friday while the Italian hopeful will initiate the test on Thursday.

Pirelli's in-season development schedule allows for 25 days of running, with each of Formula 1's ten teams taking part in the programme.

The test in Fiorano will take place under artificial wet conditions as Kvyat and Giovinazzi sample Pirelli's wet weather compounds.

In May, Haas and McLaren will enjoy two days of running in Barcelona in Pirelli's second in-season test of the year.
