Jenson Button will get his first experience racing at Le Mans next month, but sampled last week the LMP1 car that he'll be driving in the endurance classic.
The 2009 F1 world champion will race an SMP Racing BR1 alongside Vitaly Petrov and Mikhail Aleshin. The British driver put the car and himself through their paces at Magny Cours, declaring himself "mighty impressed" with the Dallara-built machine.
