Stroll and Sirotkin beg to differ on Interlagos

Williams' young chargers Lance Stroll and Sergey Sirotkin may have similar expectations for the Brazilian Grand Prix but they don't share the same feelings about the Interlagos track.

Last year, Sao Paulo was the fitting scene for Felipe Massa's farewell to his home crowd, but the Grove-based outfit likely won't have much to celebrate in the penultimate round of a season of big struggles for the British outfit.

While Stroll tackles Interlagos for the second time in his young F1 career, his rookie team mate will enjoy his maiden race at the challenging 4.3km circuit. And they have contrasting opinions about the Autodromo José Carlos Pace.

"To be honest, there is not a lot I can say about Brazil as it is not my favourite track and it is rather bumpy," says the Canadian.

"I love the enthusiasm of the Brazilians, but last year I had a tough race and didn't enjoy it. I hope I can turn this round this year and come away with good memories."

His Russian counter-part anticipates that he'll like the venue based on the track's history and what he's seen on paper.

"Brazil is a very old school track which I am really looking forward to," says Sirotkin.

"It is a proper old school track with lots of ups and downs, along with nice banking. The track features braking downhill to then accelerate up the hill, so you need to use the layout of the track to gain the advantage.

"I am looking forward to this race as I find this track exciting and I enjoy its history."
