A third DRS zone has been added to the Sakhir circuit for next weekend's Bahrain Grand Prix.

In a bid to spice up the show, drivers will be offered an opportunity to gain an advantage on a preceding car right after the first three corners of the Sakhir layout.

The detection zone for the third DRS shall be placed 50 metres before the first corner, with activation located right at the exit of Turn 3.

Thanks to the added zone, drivers will have access to their 'drag reduction system' on all three of Bahrain's straights.
