McLaren has parted ways with Guillaume Cattelani, its head of aerodynamics, a move that prefigures changes in the Woking-based outfit's tech department.
Cattelani had been employed by McLaren since 2014, having previously worked for Lotus in F1 and acted as the aero chief for Peugeot's Le Mans programme between 2006 and 2012.
According to a report from Motorsport.com, the French engineer could be headed to Haas at the end of his obligatory period of gardening leave set to end in the early part of next year.
Cattelani's involvement with the US outfit wouldn't be surprising given a past relationship he enjoyed with Haas design partner Dallara.
McLaren embarked on a management reshuffle in 2018 before hiring current team boss Andreas Seidl and technical director James Key who both moved to Woking earlier this year.
