Bernie Ecclestone and wife Fabiana are looking to a joyous pampering summer ahead with the couple expecting its first child this summer.
The news - reported by veteran F1 reporter and close Ecclestone friend Roger Benoit - fortunately did not come yesterday, on April Fool's day, or many would have perhaps doubted the story.
The 89-year-old former F1 supremo, who is currently in isolation with his wife in the couple's farm north of Sao Paulo, said he was delighted with the future happy event.
"After my time in Formula 1, we've had enough time to practice," joked Ecclestone, who already has three daughters from two previous marriages.
"It's so far due in the summer. Hopefully, he'll soon learn to play backgammon!"
Despite the doom and gloom surrounding the world amid the coronavirus pandemic, Mr. E is keeping his spirits up.
"Otherwise you'll get depressed," he said. "I just want everything to be fine with Fabiana , even in the case of a longer isolation.
"Fortunately, the farm never runs out of work. Fabiana also looks after her own coffee plantation."
The couple married in 2012 in Thun, Switzerland, after meeting through a mutual friend.
"Like all parents, we have only one wish: that the child is born healthy," said the down-to-earth Sao Paulo-born 46-year-old Brazilian.
"Hopefully he will never express the desire to do something in Formula 1 ..."
