F1i Poll: The results are in for your favourite 2021 charger

We've tallied the votes and the results are in for our readers' favourite F1 design of 2021, and it was a fierce fight between two teams.

The new season hasn't delivered new cars - well, according to the regulations - but it has dished out more than its usual share of striking liveries.

Colors and designs are a subjective affair for the livery obsessive F1 fan. But this year, the overwhelming praise was directed towards two favourites, Alpine and Aston Martin, with the French outfit just edging Team Silverstone in our poll, with a 27% preference versus the latter's 24%.

To be honest, the A521's metallic blue and red scheme was our top contender here at F1i as soon as it was rolled out. So, vive Alpine and vive la France!

However, the emerald green base adopted by Aston, the other rebranded F1 team, was just as stunning in our view, and our readers appear to agree. The AMR21 blends the legendary manufacturer's historic color with a touch of avant-garde thanks to its pink line motif.

McLaren's MCL35M took the final spot on the podium as anything papaya remains a top pick among F1 fans. But looking down the order we were a bit surprised to see Alfa Romeo and AlphaTauri lingering towards at the back of the grid as both team's created little changed but lovely liveries for this season.

Will the pecking order on the track follow the fans' design choices? It's unlikely but wouldn't that be a dramatic upset, right Fernando?
