The US Grand Prix at the Circuit of the Americas always seems to inspire drivers to design special helmet liveries for the Austin race.
Texas can be defined by its history - past and present – and by all the great things that the Lon Star State is famous for: BBQ, live music, the Alamo, the Longhorns or the great weather.
On Thursday, Lando Norris, George Russell and Fernando Alonso showcased the lid designs they will be using this weekend, hopefully to great effect.
Norris has opted for an all-American 'Old Glory' stars and stripes motif straight out of the Hollywood cut film 'Easy Rider'.
Russell unveiled his helmet design on social media, saying there was a new sheriff in town. Hopefully, the Williams driver will be making a few good arrests on the track this weekend.
As for Alonso, the Spaniard has kept his basic design and color scheme but embedded a supportive 'La Palma' message destined to attract attention to the plight of the good people of the La Palma in the Canary Islands who are currently dealing with the impact of a volcano eruption.
After the US Grand Prix, the four-time world champion will auction off the helmet to raise funds for La Palma and help the island in its rebuilding.
Ferrari's Charles Leclerc has also opted for a special lid, but one that pays tribute to luxury watch-maker and long-standing personal sponsor Ricard Mille.
Mercedes' Valtteri Bottas didn't want to be undone by his colleagues, with the Finn sporting this weekend a colorful "Austin-Texas" patchwork motif.
Check out our gallery, which we will update accordingly, showcasing the various helmet designs.
