Ferrari's all-new 2022 F1 contender has a name, one that pays tribute to the legendary Italian manufacturer in the year of its 75th anniversary.
The Scuderia's new car which will be unveiled by the team on February 17 will be called F1-75.
Ferrari's new machine is the 68th F1 car produced by the House of Maranello since founder Enzo Ferrari fired up the engine of its first car - the Ferrari 125 S - on March 12, 1947.
"Formula 1, with its spirit of competition and innovation, has always been a fundamental part of Ferrari, driving the technological development of our road cars," commented Ferrari Chairman John Elkann.
"This year, as we celebrate the 75th anniversary of our first production car leaving the factory, we honour that spirit by naming our 2022 F1 challenger the Ferrari F1-75."
Scuderia drivers Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz will take to the track for the first time onboard the F1-75 on Thursday, March 10 at the Circuit de Catalunya in Barcelona where teams will shake down their 2022 designs during three days.
Formula 1's official pre-season test will take place in Bahrain from 10 to 12 March.
