F1 pre-season testing: Driver line-ups for Bahrain

Formula 1 teams will resume their 2022 pre-season preparations today in Bahrain, with three final days of running.

After the first round of testing in Barcelona, teams regrouped at their base to take stock of their performance, analyse the terabytes of data collected in Spain and ready their upgrades for Sakhir.

Mercedes departed Barcelona with bragging rights for having achieved the two fastest laps during the test, courtesy of Lewis Hamilton and George Russell.

But Ferrari comfortably led the lap count in Spain thanks to the rock solid reliability of its F1-75.

The Scuderia has already stated that its new-spec car will only feature minor alterations in Bahrain, but Mercedes and Red Bull are expected to roll out significantly different machines compared to the initial designs seen two weeks ago at the Circuit de Catalunya.

Unfortunately, Haas is set to miss today's morning session due to a logistical setback over which it had no control.

But Pietro Fittipaldi is expected to take to the track this afternoon, while Mick Schumacher and comeback kid Kevin Magnussen will share driving duties on Friday and Saturday.

Team will be in action from 10:00 local time (07:00 GMT - 08:00 CET) before breaking for lunch at 14:00 (11:00 GMT - 12:00 CET), with the afternoon session running from 15:00 (12:00 GMT - 13:00 CET) to 19:00 local time (16:00 GMT - 17:00 CET).

Here's a rundown of the teams' line-ups for Thursday, with several outfits also confirming who will be driving on Friday and Saturday.
