Rio Haryanto has crashed his Manor on the final day of the first pre-season test in Barcelona.
The Indonesian driver was enjoying a relative productive second day of testing on Thursday having completed 51 laps when he went off 90 minutes in to the afternoon session at the exit of Turn 4. Haryanto hit the barrier on the outside of the circuit, bringing out the red flags.
The rear of the Manor was clearly damaged in the incident and the session was halted for over ten minutes in order to recover the MRT05 and bring it back to the pits. With a little over two hours of the session remaining the damage will limit the team's running on the final day.
Haryanto had also caused a red flag on his first day in the car, spinning off at Turn 5 and leaving his car buried in the gravel.
Manor is not the only team having trouble on the final day of the first test, with McLaren having so far only completed three laps due to a coolant leak.
