Both Aston Martin's Lance Stroll and Sebastian Vettel will start the Miami Grand Prix from the pitlane following a fuel temperature problem encountered by the team.
The Silverstone-based squad chose, as is the case when scorching temperatures prevail, to cool their fuel. But in doing so, the fluid's temperatures descended below the authorized level mandated by the FIA.
Aston Martin therefore decided to forego its grid preparations and warm its cars' fuel to the required minimum temperature. But the process implies a start from the pitlane.
Lance Stroll was due to line up tenth on the grid while Vettel qualified P13.
