Red Bull Racing has dropped junior driver Juri Vips from his reserve role with the team following its investigation into a racial slur by the Estonian during a live stream.
The 21-year-old FIA Formula 2 driver was suspended from all duties with the team with immediate effect last week after he was heard using the N-word on Twitch during a live stream of a video game.
Red Bull followed up the suspension with an investigation into the matter, the conclusion of which is now known.
"Following its investigation into an online incident involving Juri Vips, Oracle Red Bull Racing has terminated Juri’s contract as its test and reserve driver," the team’s statement read.
"The team do not condone any form of racism."
Vips, who races for the British-based Hitech Grand Prix outfit in F2 had made his F1 practice debut with Red Bull at last month's Spanish Grand Prix in Barcelona.
Hitech GP has yet to officially comment on whether Vips will remain with the junior squad or not.
In any case, he is no longer listed as a Red Bull junior.
