Pierre Gasly will bid farewell to his AlphaTauri team after next week's Abu Dhabi Grand Prix and will make his official debut with Alpine at Formula 1's post-season test at Yas Marina.
After spending over five years in Red Bull's F1 family, Gasly will open up a new chapter in his life as a Grand Prix driver, one that he hopes will take his career to the next level.
After next week's season finale, Yas Marina will host a two-day test that will begin on Tuesday, November 22 with a Pirelli work session for next year's drivers, while Wednesday's test will be devoted exclusively to teams running young rookies.
Gasly will therefore take to the track on Wednesday while Alpine junior Jack Doohan will take over driving duties with the Enstone squad on Wednesday.
But Gasly won't be the only driver making his debut with a new team, with Nyck de Vries - the Frenchman's replacement at AlphaTauri - putting in his first laps with the Faenza-based outfit.
And over at McLaren, new recruit Oscar Piastri who has been released by Alpine will also enjoy his first public outing with team papaya.
