Williams F1 rookie Logan Sargeant had one more assignment to complete this week with his new team before signing off from 2022.
The young American is gearing up for his maiden season in Formula 1, having already put some significant mileage under his belt this year thanks to several Friday outings with Williams on Grand Prix weekend.
As part of his preparations for 2023, Sargeant was in Grove this week to undergo a seat fitting for Williams new car, and it was a bit of time-consuming affair according to the 21-year-old debutant.
"We had to do a couple of pours to get it right, I wasn’t completely happy with the first one," admitted the American.
"But I think the second one went really well, I was super comfortable, all square and in the position I want to be.
"Now it’ll go off to get scanned and hopefully she fits good when I get out on track. I’m looking forward to getting out there."

Sargeant's deal with Williams will mark the first time an American driver will race full-time in Formula 1 since Scott Speed in 2007.
Ahead of the holidays, Williams still hasn't announced who will replace outgoing chief executive and team principal Jost Capito and technical director FX Demaison, who will both step down from their roles for 2023.
In the wake of the news of Capito's exit, Sargeant was among the first to pay tribute to the German.
"He gave me an opportunity to show my potential and race in Formula 2," said Sargeant. "He has been a great team leader, and I wish him the best in whatever the future may hold!"
