Red Bull reveals final ‘Make Your Mark’ livery for Las Vegas GP

Red Bull has unveiled its third and final fan-created livery of the year for its RB19 that the championship winning outfit will run in this weekend’s Las Vegas Grand Prix

Earlier this year, as a celebration of Formula 1's growing popularity in the United States, Red Bull announced a 'Make Your Mark' competition whereby fans were handed a chance to design three special RB19 liveries for each of the Miami, Austin and Las Vegas races in 2023.

Following the art-deco inspired pink and turquoise colors that adorned its cars in Miami last May, and a design in Austin that took its inspiration from the Lone Star Flag of Texas, this weekend’s scheme – which spruces up the RB19’s entire bodywork, from rear wing to front wing – takes its cue from the energy, excitement, and neon lights of Las Vegas.

Chosen from a sea of entries submitted by fans eager to strike design gold, Lindsay Palmer of Essex, UK, is the lucky artist set to see her creation take center stage as RBR’s Vegas livery.

Infused with a vibrant purple foundation, her design will give the impression of pink and yellow neon lights coursing through the car's bodywork as the RB19 races through the illuminated streets of Vegas after dark.

“It is brilliant to be rounding off our third and final Make Your Mark competition this season here in Nevada for the inaugural Las Vegas GP,” commented team boss Christian Horner.

“It is such a unique way to bring fans into the heart of the Team, giving them the opportunity to design and vote for our Las Vegas livery through our free loyalty programme, The Paddock.

“Congratulations to Lindsay, who really put Vegas’ iconic stamp on the design, capturing the energy and excitement of both the city and the Team.”

Before Red Bull unveiled its dedicated Vegas robe on Tuesday, Williams pulled the covers off the special livery that will adorn its own cars and which also takes inspiration from the famed showmanship of Sin City.

The design features the ‘Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas’ sign and the cabochon lights that have brought the desert to life throughout its history.

The illuminated Williams lettering is a nod to the iconic Neon Boneyard, completing an homage to the electric energy of Vegas across the engine cover and rear wing endplates.

Las week, Ferrari showcased the 'golden age' retro livery that will deck its SF-23 in Vegas.
