Alfa tops Vegas F1 livery contest with striking C43 design

After Ferrari, Williams, Alpine and Red Bull, it was Alfa Romeo's turn to showcase a special livery on its C43 for this weekend's Las Vegas GP, and it's a doozy!

Created by Alfa Romeo’s Centro Stile, the design is a true masterpiece, seamlessly blending the team's signature elegance with the city's gaming spirit.

Alfa’s unique livery is not just a visual spectacle; it embodies the very essence of Las Vegas, a city where dreams are made and fortunes can be won or lost in the blink of an eye.

The car’s all-black base exudes an air of sophistication and mystery, while the intricate pattern of playing cards adds a touch of playful intrigue.

The gold accents of the Quadrifoglio and the crimson hearts symbolize passion, victory, and the undeniable allure of the City of Lights.

Alfa’s special look will extend to the team's garage and to the drivers’ attire, with Valtteri and Zhou’s race suits featuring gold Quadrifoglios and details for this most glittering of occasions.

F1 teams head into the unknown this weekend in Sin City, with a new track, likely very cool conditions and multiple other complexities that will challenge engineers and drivers alike, but that will also level the playing field to a certain extent.

Alfa Romeo engineering director Xevi Pujolar believes that the unusual blend of enigmas could provide the Swiss outfit with an opportunity to outscore its faster rivals.

"We've got a lot of question marks about this track," commented Pujolar.

"But with the situation that we're in at the moment, I think we need a big challenge on the engineering side and on the driver's side just to make sure that we've got an opportunity to change the championship order.

"The higher difficulty and everything being a bit uncertain, is I think where we get a better chance.

"We need Vegas to be a very difficult weekend for everyone and just make sure that we take advantage of it. That's our challenge now."

Ahead of this weekend’s racing extravaganza and with just two races to go, Alfa currently sits P9 in the championship, just ahead of Haas while AlphaTauri and Williams are respectively 5 and 12 points ahead.

"We can still try and fight with the Williams and the Haas, but with the AlphaTauri at the moment, with the pace they showed [in Brazil], they're too fast," Pujolar said.

"If everything is easy and straightforward, then it will be very difficult for us to have any chance to recover the P8 or even consider to fight for the P7, it's getting very complicated."
