Haas had the privilege on Friday of opening Formula 1’s 2024 launch season, with the US outfit showcasing the design and livery of its VF-24 contender that will be raced once again this year by Kevin Magnussen and Nico Hulkenberg.

New team principal Ayao Komatsu's leadership and the experience of its driver line-up offer hope, but overcoming development delays and a fierce midfield battle will be a demanding test for the American team.
