Horner under internal investigation at Red Bull!

Red Bull Racing team principal Christian Horner is reportedly the subject of an internal investigation by Red Bull according to Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf.

The latter claims that Horner, who has been at the helm of the championship winning F1 team since 2005, is under investigation after being accused of “inappropriate behavior” by a Red Bull employee.

De Telegraaf states that Red Bull’s senior management – including chief executive Oliver Mintzlaff – is aware of the allegations and taking the matter “extremely seriously”.

In response to the allegations, Horner said: “I completely deny these claims.”

The 50-year-old Briton, who was recently awarded a CBE in King Charles III's New Years Honours list, has been married to former Spice Girl Geri Halliwell since 2015 and the couple have one child together, Montague, seven.

"After the company was made aware of certain recent allegations, an independent investigation was launched,” a spokesperson for Red Bull told De Telegraaf.

"This process, which is already ongoing, is being carried out by an external, specialised lawyer. The company takes these matters extremely seriously and the investigation will be completed as soon as practical.

“It would not be appropriate to comment further at this time."

Since Red Bull Racing’s inception in 2005, Horner has steered the Milton Keynes-based team to an astonishing track record: seven drivers' championships, including consecutive titles from 2010 to 2013, and six constructors' championships, most recently in 2023.

Under his leadership, Red Bull transformed from a plucky newcomer to a powerhouse, dominating the field in recent years alongside Mercedes and Ferrari.
