Six F1 teams roll out special liveries for Austin

Six F1 teams will have a special livery adorn their cars at the United States Grand Prix this weekend at the Circuit of the Americas.

Haas kicked off the displays earlier this week with a special stars and stripes scheme for its home race in Austin, while Aston Martin and partner Aramco unveiled a special edition of the Silverstone-based outfit’s AMR25.

McLaren followed suit with a Google ‘Gemini’ edition of its championship winning MCL39 that will race in Austin but also next week in Mexico City.

Racing Bulls jumped on the bandwagon with a special ‘tortoise’ livery that enhances its partnership with Visa’s Cash App.

Williams channeled its legendary heritage with a throwback blue and white 2002 livery design, and Juan Pablo Montoya was on hand Wednesday in Austin to help pull the covers off the FW47.

Finally, Alpine teamed up with sponsor Mercado Libre to roll out its A525 contender enhanced with the Argentine company’s signature yellow colors.

From mere tweaks to bold changes, all six F1 teams are making a statement in Austin – each car a rolling showcase of speed, style, and creativity. Let’s take a closer look at the liveries.

He was an early contributor to the monthly French F1i Magazine, often providing a historic or business perspective on Formula 1's affairs. In 2012, he co-authored along with fellow journalist Pierre Van Vliet the English-language adaptation of a limited edition book devoted to the great Belgian driver Jacky Ickx. He also authored "The American Legacy in Formula 1", a book which recounts the trials and tribulations of American drivers in Grand Prix racing. Phillip is also a commentator for Belgian broadcaster Be.TV for the US Indycar series.
