Christian Horner will be on tour this autumn. But fortunately for Formula 1 fans, however, the former Red Bull boss won’t be belting out any Spice Girls covers or country ballads.
Instead, Horner is taking his new memoir, Drive, on a UK book tour, offering readers the chance to hear directly from the man who spent two decades at the helm of one of F1’s most successful teams.
The 52-year-old’s travelling show will feature live Q&A sessions, giving fans the opportunity to quiz Horner about the triumphs, controversies and behind-the-scenes drama that defined his remarkable Red Bull tenure.
"This autumn, I’ll be heading out on a UK book tour to celebrate the publication of my memoir, Drive," Horner wrote on LinkedIn.
"I’ll be reflecting on the defining moments of my career, the experiences from more than two decades in Formula One, and the highs and lows of leading a team at the very top of the sport.
“We’ll also have a live Q&A, giving you the chance to ask your own questions and hear some of the stories from behind the scenes. Every ticket includes a copy of Drive."
Horner arrived at Red Bull in 2005 after the energy drinks giant acquired Jaguar, becoming the youngest team principal in F1 history at just 31.
What followed was an extraordinary transformation from ambitious newcomer to championship powerhouse.
Under the Briton’s stewardship, Red Bull collected six Constructors’ Championships and eight drivers’ crowns, with Sebastian Vettel dominating the first golden era before Max Verstappen spearheaded another.
Yet Horner’s own Red Bull story ended abruptly in July 2025 when he was removed from his position and replaced by Laurent Mekies.
Since then, he has largely stayed out of the spotlight, making only occasional paddock appearances, but Horner is reportedly closely monitoring all things F1 as, by his own admittance, he has “unfinished business” in the sport.
His Drive memoir gives Horner the chance to revisit the journey on his own terms – and, with a live audience armed with questions, perhaps reveal a few stories that never made it onto television.
Tickets for the autumn tour are already on general sale, meaning Horner’s next chapter will unfold not behind a pit-wall or in a paddock, but on stages around Britain.
With no singing required. Hopefully.
