Jean-Pierre Jabouille, the man who brought Renault its very first F1 victory was back behind the wheel today in Barcelona for the French team's 2017 film day.
Unfortunately, Jabouille and Renault were greeted with a burst of rain at the Circuit de Catalunya but that didn't prevent the 74-year-old Frenchman from putting in a few spirited laps in the historic RS01, the car which introduced the turbo engine to Grand Prix racing.
Jolyon Palmer was on hand as well, patiently waiting for a patch of blue sky to show up to put in some shake-down laps in the team's new RS17.
A two-time Grand Prix winner, Jabouille achieved his first win with Renault at the French Grand Prix in 1979.
