Thanks for using our web notifications, here is a list of frequently asked questions, if your question isn't answered here please contact us via Facebook and we'll help you out.
I was subscribed before, why am I being asked to subscribe again?
Push Notifications don't transfer across domains, as part of our change to HTTPS on F1i.com you have to re-subscribe to notifications from f1i.com. This is necessary due to the way push notifications are implemented across the web. You will not receive any more notifications from the old subscription.
Just visit an article and tap the the button at the bottom of the article to set up your subscription to push notifications from F1i.com
What is a web notification?
Just like mobile apps, websites are now able to send notifications; they allow us to send you a push notification straight after we publish a story so you'll never miss a story or breaking news. You'll get a notification appear in the top right of your screen for desktop users and in the notification drawer for Android users.
What devices are supported?
Currently we support Chrome on Android and Desktop, Firefox on Desktop. and Safari on MacOS.
Safari and Chrome on iOS do not support web notifications because of limitations imposed by the operating system.
How many notifications will I receive?
We aim to highlight our biggest and most important stories with notifications, so expect a few more over the race weekends and less during the week.
