Raffaele Marciello has been a Ferrari junior for several seasons and was appointed as Sauber reserve driver last winter. The 20-year-old made his FP1 debut in late March when he drove the Ferrari-powered C34 in the opening free practice session for the Malaysian Grand Prix.
