A rainy fall in Upstate New York

Although the 1969 F1 season ended in the middle of North-America’s Indian summer, the US Grand Prix took place in dreary weather conditions at Watkins Glen. Driving the NART-entered Ferrari 312 in Upstate New York, Mexican ace Pedro Rodriguez drove a steady race to finish fifth, albeit 7 laps behind Jochen Rindt’s winning Lotus.
