Sebastian Vettel’s storming qualifying performance at Singapore ended a three-year pole position drought for Ferrari. The last time the Italian squad placed one of its drivers at the top of the Saturday timesheets traced back to the 2012 German Grand Prix, with Fernando Alonso beating a certain Vettel to pole.
