Here's wishing former Formula One driver Jos Verstappen a very happy 45th birthday today. He shares his special day with Jim Clark, one of the all-time greats of the sport.

Jos made 106 Grand Prix starts during his time in Formula One which spanned a decade between 1994 and 2003. He made his debut in Brazil with Benetton and took back-to-back podium finishes at Hungary and podium in his rookie season.

He moved on to Simtek, Footwork, Tyrell and then Stewart-Ford in 1998, and then spent two seasons with Arrows in 2000 and 2001. His final season in F1 was spent with Minardi in 2003. He's since competed in A1GP and at Le Mans.

More recently he's returned to the Grand Prix paddock in a new role, that of proud dad. While he's said he's stepping away from overseeing son Max's career, he was in Barcelona this week to watch pre-season testing.
