He might have retired from Formula 1, but 2009 Formula 1 world champion Jenson Button is still busy training and keeping fit. An experienced triathlon competitor, he was out and about in London's Richmond Park on Saturday.

The park is famous for being home to a herd of deer. They seemed very intrigued by their early morning visitor! The normally shy creatures couldn't resist coming out for a look. They even obediently posed while Jenson took a selfie with them.

"Few laps of Richmond park to stretch my legs out and came across these beauties," he posted on Instragram. It's fair to say that he was comprehensively upstaged by the park's indigenous wildlife.

And as a bonus picture of the day, let's cross the Atlantic and drop in on another retired world champion.

Nico Rosberg is currently on the west coast of America in San Francisco. He posted this picture of the view over the city as the sun was rising. Is it just us, or does he look like he's modelling for the soulful album cover of an up and coming indie band?
