While his former F1 family and colleagues were shivering in Barcelona, Jenson Button kicked off his Japanese Super GT preparations in perfect conditions at Motegi.
After a debut outing in the popular series last summer at the Suzuka 1000km event, Button will undertake a full season in Japan in 2018, driving for Honda's Team Kunimitsu alongside muliple Super GT winner Naoki Yamamoto.
The first round of the Super GT 8-race championship is scheduled to take place at Okayama on April 7-8.
