Lando Norris has started in earnest his preparations for the reprise of the 2020 F1 season, the McLaren driver putting himself behind the wheel of a real-world racing car on Wednesday.
Norris called upon his old Carlin team to provide him with an F3 car for an outing at Silverstone.
"It’s just getting the body back into that physical feeling of the G force and everything like that, to get that muscle memory back and working as it should do," said Norris, speaking before his run on an F1 Nation podcast.
"It’s also a bit of a shock to the system to get back into doing that as well. Driving anything that you can push and go flat-out is going to be a good feeling."
