Fittipaldi's scary backward somersault

Christian Fittipaldi’s Monza flip remains one of the scariest images in the 1993 season. On the final lap of that year’s Italian Grand Prix, the Brazilian was battling for positions with Pierluigi Martini when he hit the back of his Minardi team-mate and went airborne on the main straight, doing a full backward somersault before thankfully landing on his wheels. To this date, the two drivers remain at loggerheads over what happened, with Fittipaldi still blaming Martini for the accident.
