Paddock chic: Leclerc and Saint Mleux crowned fashion royalty

Ferrari’s golden boy Charles Leclerc and his fiancée, Alexandra Saint Mleux, have officially been named the most fashionable couple in sports by GQ Sports for 2025.

While Leclerc is accustomed to precision at 300 km/h, it seems his ability to coordinate a pocket square on the red carpet is just as sharp as his racing lines, while his better half often turns the F1 paddock into her personal and elegant runway.

As Formula 1’s global footprint grows, drivers like Leclerc are becoming lifestyle icons, showing sponsors and fans alike that charisma off the track can be just as influential as skill on it.

While the Monegasque remains a benchmark for style away from the track, Alexandra Saint Mleux has emerged as a powerhouse in her own right.

The art historian and influencer seamlessly complements Leclerc’s polished image with her own modern, elegant choices, often incorporating subtle nods to race locations or art history into her looks.

GQ Sports’ nod also underscores the increasingly stylish intersection of motorsport and contemporary culture.

Whether it’s a Monaco Grand Prix after-party or a Milan runway, Leclerc and Saint Mleux are proving that the world of Formula 1 isn’t only about speed – it’s also about swagger. For fans of fast cars and fine fashion alike, this duo has officially set the standard.

Phillip van Osten

Motor racing was a backdrop from the outset in Phillip van Osten's life. Born in Southern California, Phillip grew up with the sights and sounds of fast cars thanks to his father, Dick van Osten, an editor and writer for Auto Speed and Sport and Motor Trend. Phillip's passion for racing grew even more when his family moved to Europe and he became acquainted with the extraordinary world of Grand Prix racing. He was an early contributor to the monthly French F1i Magazine, often providing a historic or business perspective on Formula 1's affairs. In 2012, he co-authored along with fellow journalist Pierre Van Vliet the English-language adaptation of a limited edition book devoted to the great Belgian driver Jacky Ickx. He also authored "The American Legacy in Formula 1", a book which recounts the trials and tribulations of American drivers in Grand Prix racing. Phillip is also a commentator for Belgian broadcaster Be.TV for the US Indycar series.
