After the Brazilian Grand Prix, which opened the 1985 season, René Arnoux (seen here during the preliminary tests at Interlagos without a number on his Ferrari) was suddenly sacked by Ferrari. We never really knew why, although the French pilot returned to F1 a year later for three seasons with Ligier. He was replaced at the Scuderia by Stefan Johansson as team-mate to Michele Alboreto.
