Nearly twenty years before Sebastian Vettel arrived at Maranello, Michael Schumacher started taking on his own Ferrari challenge. It took five seasons for the Red Baron and his dream team to finally break their duck and reach their goal of becoming world champions. Nicknamed ‘Baby Schumi’ when he began racing in F1, Vettel will have to be patient if he wished to emulate his role model’s success. Here is Michael driving the 1998 Ferrari F300 shod with grooved tyres. The latter had been re-introduced in F1 for the first time since 1971.
