Former Toyota, Sauber and Caterham F1 driver Kamui Kobayashi is celebrating his 30th birthday on this date. Across his 75 grand prix starts, Kobayashi, who is now part of Toyota’s LMP1 programme in the FIA WEC, became the third Japanese racer after Aguri Suzuki and Takuma Sato to score a podium when he finished third on home soil at Suzuka in 2012.
