If the red super-softs hadn’t gone off, Vettel just might have had Ricciardo’s number and capped off a massive drive with a trip to the podium.  Twelve important damage limiting points, despite Hamilton’s 18. But the Scuderia’s run of Asian bad luck continued post-race with a silly crash with Stroll that may have dire consequences later this week at Suzuka.
