A brand new nose for Toro Rosso
Toro Rosso almost brought a B version of its STR10 at Barcelona II so many were the changes for the final pre-season test. The most striking transformation lies in the car’s new short thumb-tipped nose, a design very similar to the FW37. “It's a Williams direction,” technical director James Key told Autosport. “We always knew this was the way to go. The only reason we did the long one was because this [new nose] is technically more difficult with the impact test, and we wanted to give ourselves a banker.”
