While everybody expected a major evolution of the MCL33 (as announced by chief aerodynamicist Peter Prodromou), the Woking team just chose to develop the solutions put in place in Barcelona to better cool the engine cover.

An opening was sealed up (see the yellow arrows), the air intake was moved and redesigned (white arrows), while the bottom of the engine cover was painted black.
