During a season where the driver market is surprisingly stable, Lewis Hamilton has been ringing the changes with a new haircut and tattoo in Monza.
Hamilton arrived at the circuit ahead of the Italian Grand Prix with a bleached blonde hairstyle as well as a new tattoo on his neck. Hamilton is not one to shy away from such style, posting an image of his new tattoo on his Instagram page on Wednesday.
"My Eagle represents a visionary," Hamilton wrote. "I'm a seeker and i'm willing to push the limits of self-discovery and personal freedom. The eagle is a born leader and may become impatient with those who cannot fly as high or as fast."
Speaking about his hair on Thursday afternoon, Hamilton added: "I changed my hair because I can. I wanted to experiment, I am very much in an experimental phase in my life right now. It’s short-term at the moment."
Hamilton is not the first driver to take on the bleached blonde look in recent years, with the likes of Jacques Villeneuve, Eddie Irvine and even Sebastian Vettel all sporting the style.
