Kimi Raikkonen says he is not concerned to be entering the last year of his contract with Ferrari.

Having joined from Lotus at the start of the 2014 season, Raikkonen signed a two-year deal with an option for a third year at Ferrari. While he was comprehensively outperformed by team-mate Fernando Alonso last season, Raikkonen insists he feels no pressure to show an improvement against four-time world champion Sebastian Vettel this year.

"There is an option on my contract," Raikkonen said when asked if he had any concerns entering the final year of his deal.

"It's up to me and the team to do a good job this year, and if it goes badly and I don't sign it, I don't sign it. It won't be the end of the world.

"The aim is to do well, and there's a big chance. If everybody is happy then I am sure we can do well. We'll see what happens in the future. I don't worry about it or have to think about it. We'll find out at some time."

Raikkonen remains Ferrari's last world champion, having secured the drivers' title in 2007 following a three-way showdown with then-McLaren pair Alonso and Lewis Hamilton.
