Follow live coverage of the Russian Grand Prix weekend from Sochi Autodrom with F1i.

Following a morning practice session which was delayed due to a diesel spillage, teams will be hoping rain holds off for FP2 in order to allow some more representative running. Half an hour was lost in FP1 in order to allow the track to be cleaned, but the slippery conditions made the first session somewhat of a farce.

Nico Hulkenberg topped the times in FP1, but teams limited their running and a number of drivers - including Lewis Hamilton, Kimi Raikkonen and Felipe Massa - suffered spins during the hour of track time that was available.

While the opening session stayed dry, dark clouds have gathered over Sochi Autodrom with light rain starting to fall 15 minutes before the start of the session. The rest of the weekend forecast predicts largely dry weather for qualifying and the race.

Following FP1 it was confirmed Fernando Alonso - on his 250th grand prix weekend - will receive a 25-place grid penalty for power unit component changes, while Roberto Merhi drops 20 places for the same reason.

You can follow all the live coverage on F1i's live page, which can be bookmarked as it will provide commentary on every session of the 2015 F1 season.
