Rumors have started to circle in Suzuka however that Honda is determined to have Gasly finish the season in Japan where he is in the running for the Super Formula finale.

Red Bull's Helmut Marko has stated that "winning Japanese Super Formula is important for Honda."

He has not given any indication however who could possibly race alongside Kvyat should Gasly remain in Japan in two weeks.
