Lewis Hamilton suddenly broke his social media silence, posting a picture of himself at the top of a snowy mountain on Instagram.
The four-time world champion had purged his social media accounts in reaction to a public outcry after a video in which he chastised his nephew for wearing a princess dress went viral.
It's now clear however that the Mercedes driver, as he enjoyed some down time in a remote place of the earth, simply did not have the proper cell phone coverage to feed his accounts once again...
Hamilton was expected to attend a sponsor event hosted by IWC in Geneva on Tuesday, but he was a no-show. No worries however as a Mercedes spokesman said the Brit was simply unwell and could not travel to Switzerland.
In any case, welcome back Lewis!
