Daniel Ricciardo charged to his sixth F1 career win in Shanghai yesterday, pulling off an impressive collection of signature moves on his rivals along the way.
The Aussie's grit, dexterity and late breaking skills are well chronicled.
In Indycar's second round yesterday in Long Beach, one many channeled his inner 'Danny Ric' to achieve a mind-blowing, daring triple overtaking maneuver the Honey Badger himself would likely be jealous of.
Here's how it all went down:
Dale Coyne Racing's Sebastien Bourdais was racing Chip Ganassi Racing's Scott Dixon for position on lap 48 of IndyCar's Long Beach thriller. The former Toro Rosso driver caught a double-draft from his rival and a backmarker, passing both before edging out a third!
Unfortunately, the IndyCar veteran's brave efforts hardly helped his cause as his fate was later sealed when he incurred a violation for using the pit lane to pass Dixon on a restart.
Regardless, the exhilarating triple pass is worth a watch, so check out the video.
